Ivar The Timewalker: Ivar, the Timewalker has experienced the passage of thousands of years, just like his immortal brothers, Gilad and Aram. Unlike them, or anyone else, Ivar has spent his years skipping around from one point in history to the next. Able to find natural "time arcs" that carry him from era to era, Ivar might be in the present one week, and in 41st - Century North Am the next. This gets to be tricky for Ivar, who must take care to do nothing that could change history--even though this pledge of non-interference often leads to some difficult choices. But his time jumps aren't motivated by curiosity or adventure, Ivar only hopes that the next time arc will place him back in the arms of his one, great love--lost in another time.
Rebecca Simms: Rebecca
Simms is the granddaughter
of the Golden Age Dr Tomorrow, and daughter of the Silver Age Dr.
Tomorrow. Rebecca lived in the Reality known as VH 2,
till she was recruited by "The Director", the leader of the group
known as The T.I.M.E. Vaulters, a group dedicated to maintain both
temporal and dimensional order across the multiverse.
September
9th, 1997, 09:03 a.m. EST:
Ivarand Rebecca
approached MotherGod's
Tower in utter silence.
"Are you sure about this?" asked Ivar.
"Yes Ivar,
we have to get inside the Tower
to stop MotherGod
from finding my T.I.M.E.*
Vaulter equipment."
answered Rebecca
just as she was turning a corner.

Suddenly a flying platform,
with 2 guards on it, swooped above Ivar
and Rebecca's
heads.
Rebecca
took a small pellet gun out of her belt and shot a small device at the
base of the platform.
"What's that do?" asked Ivar
as he took the gun from Rebecca's
hand.
"It's a small EMP emitter. As
soon as that platform joins the rest of the Tower
it'll activate and cause one major headache for Erica
and everyone inside the Tower."
said Rebecca,
taking back the gun and putting it in her belt.
"Now come on, we have to reach
the T.I.M.E.
Gateway in the next
15 minutes, or we'll miss the T.I.M.E.
Arc."
Ivar
and Rebecca
approached an unguarded side of The
Tower
"According to Gilly...my Gilly
I mean...he and his future self used this entrance during the original Unity
conflict in the Lost
Land. Guess this Erica
and the one from my universe used the same architect." Said Ivar
while opening the hidden door inside the wall.
"Well, let's hope we have the
same luck he and the Valiant
Heroes had during that
little adventure,” said a sarcastic sounding Rebecca.
"Valiant
Heroes? Little Adventure?
What are you talking about?" asked a perplexed looking Ivar.
"Later for that, let's go."
said Rebecca
while pulling at Ivar's
coat.
After a few minutes Rebecca
and Ivar
reached a 50 feet wide door.
"Wow! What's that?"
"According to the esquematics
this door takes us straight into the ventilation shaft, and a one way ticket
to the penthouse." responded Rebecca.
Rebecca
took a small device out of her belt and pasted it to the door.
"Get behind that wall, once
this thing is activated it'll not be pleasant." Said Rebecca
while activating the device. Ivar
did as told and with Rebecca
running behind him they hid behind the wall. A few seconds later a sudden
flash of light filled the room and when Ivar
looked at where the door was a second before there was nothing.
"What you do?"
"I send the door 15 seconds
into the future, so shut up and run." yelled Rebecca
while once again grabbing Ivar
by the coat and pulling him inside the shaft.
"Close your eyes, now!" yelled Rebecca,
just as the room was once again filled with a flash of light, and behind Ivar
the door materialized.
"Wait a minute! What happened
to the door of this time, the one that was in the future before you..."
"Will you shut up? I don't have
time to discuss temporal dynamics with you, now move." exclaimed Rebecca,
moving deeper into the shaft.
A few minutes later Ivar
and Rebecca
reached a 100 yard sized hole.
"Whatever you do, don't look..."
Ivar
looked into the hole and saw a black, endless void. "Wow!"
"Amateurs. Do as I tell you.
In about 30 seconds a gust of wind will move along this hole, going all
the way up. We'll ride it, like if it were a wave."
"A wave? You're kidding, right?"
said Ivar.
"No, now put this on." Rebecca
handed Ivar
a pair of shoes she took from a maintenance locker. "Erica's
workers use this to clean the filth that gathers at the end of the shaft,
all the way up."
"How high is the Tower
anyway?"
"About 150 meters...And before
you ask, we'll be traveling at around 35 meters a minute, so we'll reach
the top in about...4 ½ minutes. Now, are you coming?"
Ivar
and Rebecca
prepared to jump into the hole.
"10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...Jump!"
yelled Rebecca.
Ivar
and Rebecca
jumped into the hole, just as the wind Rebecca
predicted came. Ivar's
and Rebecca's
boots rode the wind, all the way to the top.
"This is awesome!!!!" screamed Ivar.
"Yeah, just make sure you don't
bump your head with the roof." Rebecca
responded with a laugh.
4 minutes later Ivar
and Rebecca
reached the roof.
"Prepare to jump...Now!" yelled Rebecca.
Ivar
jumped into a nearby ledge, Rebecca
behind him.
"Now what?"
"Let me think. According to
the plan the T.I.M.E.
Gateway will appear
in MotherGod's
Throne Room in 3 minutes."
Suddenly the lights in the passageway
adjacent to the ledge started to flicker.
"Wow, I guess the EMP started."
said Ivar.
"Yeah, perfect timing too, and Erica
is in for a surprise."
"What do you mean?"
"Well, think about it. No matter
how powerful Erica
is, she's still made out of energy, so she, like energy, has to obey the
laws of nature."
"Radical" responded Ivar.
MotherGod's Throne
Room:
MotherGod Pierce is screaming at the top of her lungs. Her body is reacting to the EMP. Her extremities are like water, and her body like putty. Standing next to her is the catatonic body of Toyo Harada* and Master Darque.

"Stop this!! Darque,
help me!!" screamed Erica.
"Interesting
turn of events dearErica,very
interesting indeed." was Darque's
only response before leaving the room.
"You'll pay for this Darque,
you hear me?, you'll pay for this!!!"
Rebecca
and Ivar
approached the room silently.
"30 seconds, we have to be in
position soon. When I tell you to jump into the center of the room and
run towards Erica's
throne, that's where The
T.I.M.E. Gateway will
appear."
"Got it."
"10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...Now!"
Ivar
jumped from behind one of the Tower's
support beams and landed right in front of Erica, who was no more than
a puddle of energy* , just as the T.I.M.E.
Gateway appeared in
front of her throne.
*: Just like what happened to Solar
during the Chaos

Ivar
entered the
T.I.M.E. Arc within
the Gateway,
followed by Rebecca.
From behind a curtain in the Throne
Room:
"Very
interesting indeed."
North
Am, Ottawa Sector:
"Once
this was known as Pierceville,
but about 1000 years ago that town was destroyed by its creator, MotherGod
Pierce,
when she had a nightmare.
1'000'000'000
people died that day.
The
survivors, under the orders of MotherGod,
rebuild it the place, but this time Erica
wanted it bigger, as big as the entire continent, so that everyone and
everything would be under her control.
The
day Pierceville
was destroyed was also the day in which Master
Darque
reached Godhood, thanks to the necromantic
energy unleashed by the death of all those people.
Today
the world is split in two.
North
Am
under the rule of it's Goddess, MotherGod,
and The
European Consortium,
under the rule of it's God--or is that Demon--Darque."

The Mile Spires can be seen
from the distance.
That's where the rich live,
the ones who were smart enough to obey MotherGod
Pierce and not question
her rule.
This are the ones who are in
charge of the daily operations and maintenance of North
Am, while MotherGod
lives in seclusion in her Rainbow
Tower, in San
Gabriel Valley.
The only place outside of MotherGod's
sphere of influence is the mountains in the outskirts of North
Am, which were left
untouched for the animals and the trees, which give life to the planet.
Suddenly a crack of lighting
fell on a tree, and split it in two.
The lighting began to take form
and shape. The shape of a T.I.M.E.
Gateway.
Ivar
and Rebecca
came flying out of the Gateway
and landed in a creek.
">spew<" Ivar spited a mouthful
of water.
"When are we now?" asked Ivar.
"According to my tracker it
is the year 4001 AD."
"Perfect! We have to go find Aram
and Magnus."
"Do you know where they are?"
asked Rebecca
"Yes, we have to go down to Mexico,
to a cave deep inside the Gulf
of Mexico. No matter
what Erica
might do to the world that cave is still there, and that's where I send Aram
and Magnus
5 years ago...well, u know what I mean when I say 5 years."
"Yes, I know what you mean.
Let's go."
Rebecca
took a gatefold
map out of her
belt. "Come on, we'll take the fast route."
Rebecca
stock a pin in the map and a dimensional gateway opened in front of them,
and then they crossed it, coming out inside the cave Ivar
described.
"Wow, how did you do that? What
is that thing?"
"I keep forgetting how different
you and the other Ivar
are." sighted Rebecca
while placing the fold map back in her belt. "Now, where are Aram
and Magnus
supposed to..." before Rebecca
could finish her sentence she was jumped from behind by a man wearing a
red tunic and white go-go boots.
"Magnus!!"
Yelled Ivar.
Magnus
grabbed Rebecca
and held her above his head. "Who are you? How did you find this place?
Did MotherGod
Pierce send you? Didn't
she learn anything about last time she tried to have me killed! Maybe if
I break this woman in two then the she devil will learn not to mess with Magnus, MotherGodFighter!!"
"No! Magnus,
let her go. We are not assassins, we are friends of Aram,
he's my brother." said Ivar
while hanging from Magnus
left arm, trying to make him drop Rebecca.
"Mentioning the name of my dead
mentor won't help you meat. The day you decided to rally around MotherGod
and do her biding was the day you renounced my help." said Magnus
as he threwIvar
across the room without dropping Rebecca.
"Oh, give me a break please. This hero vs. hero b.s. went the way of disco.
Now drop me you big gallop." Said Rebecca
while attaching a round disk on Magnus'
back, which caused him to start levitating off the floor.
"What kind of magic trick is
this? Let me down witch!" yelled Magnus as he dropped Rebecca so he could
try to take the disk of his back.
Rebecca got of the floor and
shacked the dust off her uniform.
"Ivar,
would you be so kind as grabbing that chair over there? Let's sit here
and talk with levitation lad here till he cools down."
Ivar
got off the floor and did as asked. "What did u mean your dead mentor?"
"Ok, I'll tell you what you
want to know, but as soon as I come down from here I'll finish you with
my bare hands."
